Striker879
That other games aren't affected tells me that hardware isn't the likely culprit. One of our returning longtimers MarkInMKUK suggested something to me ... do you have any other programs running in the background while playing, especially web browsers such as Chrome? Oblivion's not very good at sharing.
electra5000
Nothing running in the background. Only the antivirus. I also tried remapping the keys as you suggested and nothing. I have the feeling that it could be a corrupted file that handles the movement commands. This because it´s such an unknown issue. I may needs to exchange it... I reinstelled the game again and, even though it still happens, it does it less and it´s letting me play.
electra5000
Ok. I finally figured it out. Please don´t scold/make fun of me.I had a Logitech joystick plugged into my computer, but I hadn´t used it for a long time. Suddenly, looking at the game´s options, I remembered the joystick. I unplugged it and lo and behold! as if by magic, the problem was gone.I wish to thank those who took the time to try to help me. It is greatly appreciated.   Edited May 25, 2014 by electra5000
