Good morning. I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this, but I am in need of some help, if possible. I have been playing Skyrim with A LOT of mods, and for the most part, my game has been stable. I have experienced infinite loading screens and CTD once in awhile. Also, I recently installed the Falskaar mod, and my game has been CTD every time I try to enter the Amber Inn. However, this morning, my game will not even load...it crashes to the desktop after a couple of seconds of the starting screen...I did delete a couple of follower mods and armor mods prior to this....I will post my mod list below in the hopes that someone will notice something that could be causing this sudden CTD problem. befor i read further how much esp's have you running and could you ever play with that list longer then 30min?

 

if you want a more stable game with so much mods you should use TES5Edit+merge plugin for Merging them, that will take some stress from your loadorder.

 

oh and you don't have a bashpatch, better make one with so much mods

Thank you for your reply! I am not very well-versed in mods to begin with, and I am not sure what that plugin or bashpatch means, but I will look into them. Yes, I have been able to play the game for several hours with these mods all activated.

You really need to use Wrye Bash to make a Bashed patch...

 

All the UNrecognized, (most i have ever seen) needs to be sorted also. Once you have a bashed patch, they (UNsorted) would then all need to be before the Bashed Patch.

 

What are you using to install mods?...how many is that?

most of them are armor/clothing mods that won't do much harm but your game has to load every esp one after the other and with so much it can cause trouble.

 

a bashed patch can be made with Wryesmash, it merges your Levelt-Lists to one, so if you have let's say 2 armor mods for npc's installed and they effect the same npc the last in your loadorder will be used or a combination of the 2 will be created.

 

Tes5Edit is really usefull to check/fix all sorts of stuff and you should take a look out Gopher's Youtube channel for Tutoriels it helped me a lot : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1CSCMwaDubQ4rcYCpX40Eg

I am using BOSS 2.3.0 and NMM to install the mods.
