Having Problems Logging In?

Recommended Posts

I can log in, but I can not DL any mods from FO3.

EDIT by LHammonds: Sounds like you have a JavaScript blocker which is causing your problems. To use the site, you have to let JavaScript run as well as not block the login / session cookies as covered in the 1st post.

Hello.

Some time ago i registered profile on Fallout3 Nexus :

http://awesomescreenshot.com/098ksyzbb

...but when i tried to enter New Vegas Nexus i was immediately logged off :

http://awesomescreenshot.com/001ksz718

EDIT by LHammonds: No, you were never logged into that site. Each site is its own site, however, they do share the same ID/Password database...so no need to re-register. Just need to login with your ID/Password.

..ok, no problem. I'll try to re-register...

http://awesomescreenshot.com/0f3kszd00

EDIT by LHammonds: My guess is that you have some sort of JavaScript blocker like NoScript which will not allow the site to work.

...ummm, that's logical i guess. Ok, there's a problem. So maybe i need to enter NV Nexus with my FO3 login and password...

http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b7kszh6a

...i see. So, let's try "CONTACT FORM".

http://awesomescreenshot.com/0edkszj89

"File does not exist" ? Weird.

What to do... I know. I'll just register new account

http://awesomescreenshot.com/07fl01pa5

EDIT by LHammonds: Yep, that needs to be addressed. Page changed during the recent overhaul.

Et voila. It does work.

...then again. Something is not right. Really, something is not right. :whistling:

EDIT by LHammonds: Although you happened to find the right thread, did you read the 1st post which covers 99.9% of all login problems?

Hello.

I'm encountering the problem of not being able to login in specifically on skyrim nexus; tesnexus, dragon age nexus, the forums etc. however work. My browser is firefox, without any addons, cookies are set as outlined in the first post - yet everytime I try to login to skyrim nexus I get a "file not found" error message. :(

I use Win7/64 andFirefox (currently 8.0). I can't log in. I disabled AdBlocker and NoScript on your site, and it still gives me the cookie problem.

I can log into the main page using IE9. Seems like there is something funky with your Firefox 8 coding.

edit: I can log into the Elder Scrolls Nexus for Oblvion stuff fine, just not the Skyrim Nexus while on FF.
