DogWood
Hello, I need some help editing in CS. I am looking to remove content from some mods for private use and need to know how. for ex. Marine and bunny, want to remove the bunny from the mod and all related content, how is this done? how do I know I got all the files? ex. 2: SPB's Belt Girl, want to remove the ground item(spatula) how do I do this without getting the yellow error in the world? How do I make the new esp. when I am done? Is there an easier way to edit mods than CS? any help is good help, thanks.
DavidBudreck
Easier? The Construction Set is the "Easy" way. Imagine having to edit everything in hex with notepad! Before you start deleting here, I highly suggest you become acquainted with the editor. There are some excellent resources. Darthlvlaul
Im not sure about the first 2 but I believe to edit a mod and save as a new mod simply load the mod in CS and don't make it active, now when you save,it should let you rename and save it to where you want,BUT I don't know if you should be doing this,as it make cause problems with the mod when you try to play...Don't say I didn't warn you,but it's worth a shot u could try it... Don't Give Up Using CS!!!to mod or edit mods it was very hard for me to get used to CS but once u do it's FUN!

I think I might have activated it does this make a difference?
