LegoManIAm94
I have found a way to use a Xbox 360 Gamepad for Oblivion It is not the same as on Xbox 360. To activate things in menus press RT. And to drop things from your inventory you will need to hold X and press RT. If you like the Morrowind controls better use Oblivorrowind but if you like the Oblivion controls better use Oblivion. And you will only get 3 hotkeys for Oblivion and 4 hotkeys for Oblivorrowind. ControlsHere are the controls for each one. It will first say the controller button, then the action, then the keyboard button so if you want to customise your controls in options you can use this list. Oblivion A-Activate-SpaceB-Menu-TabX-Ready Weapon-FY-Jump-ERB-Cast-CLB-Grab-ZRT-Use/Attack-Left ClickLT-Block-Right ClickStart-Pause-EscBack-Wait-TD-pad Up-Toggle Run-Caps LockD-pad Left-Hotkey 1-1D-pad Down-Hotkey 2-2D-pad Right-Hotkey 3-3Left Joystick-Sneak-CtrlRight Joystick-Toggle POV-R Oblivorrowind A-Activate-SpaceB-Menu-TabX-Ready Weapon-FY-Cast-CRB-Wait-TLB-Grab/Block-Z, Right ClickRT-Use/Attack-Left ClickLT-Jump-EStart-Pause-EscBack-Toggle Run-Caps LockD-pad Up-Hotkey 1-1D-pad Left-Hotkey 2-2D-pad Down-Hotkey 3-3D-pad Right-Hotkey 4-4Left Joystick-Sneak-CtrlRight Joystick-Togle POV-R RequirementsOblivionWired Xbox 360 Gamepad (PC Version) Install the software that comes with your controller first. Then go into My Documents/My Games/Oblivion and open up Oblivion configuration. Then download the files here and put the cfg. file in the JoyToKey folder. Then install ControlMK and put the pro. file into the ControlMK folder. Then run ControlMK. In ControlMK select the Xbox 360 gamepad in Controllers Found, Then in activate controllers select the Xbox 360 Gamepad. Then it should say under it Oblivion/Oblivorrowind. If not select profiles and then select Oblivion/Oblivorrowind. Then run JoyToKey and you should see Oblivion or Oblivorrowind on the right side of the window. Click on it. You may need to Adjust Mouse Sensitivity in the Oblivion options under controls.

Pronam
Ey, great! Gonna try it out now. Thanks :). --It works perfectly. I've got to get use to clicking options with the attack button, but it's nice to finally block and attack and to have all functions work properly :). wizardmirth
I did this a long time ago from a page Bethesda has on how to configure your XBox usb controller. What I would like to know is how to keep the joystick look and move from being so damned sensitive. Slightest move of the stick and character goes flying/looking in this direction or that, or slightest touch of the stick and character slowly turns this way or that. How do you fine tune this for Oblivion?
LegoManIAm94
Pause the game then go to options them controls then ajust the mouse sensitivity.

mauley
I followed all the steps but when in game i am not able to move, all the other controls work perfectly though. Also when the Joy2key software is running it makes my mouse pointer constantly move downwards without even pressing or moving anything. Any help please. LegoManIAm94
The mouse is moving most likely because the joystick is just not in the middle perfectly since it can be sensitive. But you must also start up ControlMK since that is what is used to make you move.
dretcher2
Would this be possible with a playstation controller? PS3 ones are wireless, but they all have a cord that you can plug in that's a USB.
Pronam
Playing the game? Yes. with this? no...this is setup for the xbox controller, it uses totally different functions and such.I'm not a ps3 owner so I don't know if that cable you're reffering to is just to charge the controller (like with the xbox) or you can really play with. Take a look here for it the stuff after you've managed to install the controller on your pc.
