I have tried raising Streamline Desired FPS, no dice. I have tried turning off Vsync, nothing so im stumped.Any idea what that is about? ytsejam91
have you installed "oblivion stutter remover"? It puts a 30 fps limit on framerate (I don't remember why exactly, but know it is possible to change that value in the ini file)
bben46
Try disabling streamline. It will try to increase FPS, at the cost of video resolution and features. But it will limit when it cannot find anything to trade for the FPS. Without Streamline what you should see is an increase in FPS when indoors or in caves. And a decrease when outdoors and especially in the wilderness.

billypnats
or maybe you put the ifpsclamp to 30 (that line is oblivion.ini)
Illiad86
Lol, I reinstalled Oblivion a few days ago, added essential mods (list was originally 145, got it down to 60), and played and the FPS was capped at 30. I don't use Streamline or any other optimization mods and was wondering wtf? Checked the settings and I guess Oblivion defaults Vsync to being on when installed. *rolls eyes* But you said you turned Vsync off...so I'm stumped too :/
