RedClairefield
This computer I am using works the best using Ubuntu. I'd like to install XP, but there are no XP drivers for this particular set of components, and I don't want to deal with all the workarounds. So I have a question. Has anyone here played Fallout 3 using PlayOnLinux? And with how much success? I've seen some youtube videos and they appear to play pretty well... but I don't know how accurate the videos are, really. Also, I'm only interested in getting the PC version for mods, because I already have an xbox 360 version. So, do the mods work the same when using PlayOnLinux? Wine configures a faux C:\ drive, but I don't know how POL Works or how much more difficult installing the files would be. So any help is appreciated. gsmanners
I've played Fallout 3 with Wine before and it works great. The main problem is you can't really use FOMM because that requires .NET (which can be a pain to install).
