Rise of Ouroboros: Crusade

I'll spin the color wheel around some and see what I get. That pedestal looks excellent. What shall we do for loot containers? I think the heart-on-a-stick would look cliched..

That what you meant by coloring to blue and black?

What kind of enemies are going to be in these castles? I was always confused at the oblivion citadels being perfectly empty. Could there be some things like an armory in the castle?

Edit: The tree problem seems to have corrected itself. Here's what I've got.

I really shouldn't be hauling in more work, as I'm too busy already, but I can't resist. :P

I've been following this for quite some time now - it looks very promising - and I'd like to help. I know my way around the CS and I can do basically everything (I do suck at heightmapping/landscaping though :P), but I specialize in advanced scripting. I can also do very simple re-textures, but nothing special.

I am a busy person though, and while I'd love to help, real life and other things (such as EG ;D) may make that hard sometimes.

Thank you very much, Argomirr! I'd love to have your help.

Currently, ub3rman123 is making Shade Perilous for us, and that's

really the focus right now. I too have been distracted by other matters

so I completely understand.

Right now ideas for Shade Perilous beyond what I have

below would be most helpful, as I'm struggling with it.

@ub3rman123

I'm going to go into a bit of story-line, so forgive me if I get long-winded.

In the first half of the mod you learn from the dremora herald that the defeat of

Mehrunes Dagon has shifted the balance of power in the Daedric realms. Dremora

have defected after another humiliating defeat of there master, and have started

serving others. Azura, though she disdains the creatures, is so concerned by

the "Rise of Ouroboros" so to speak, that she has recruited a great portion of

Dagon's armies and even taken possession of some of his holdings in the

Deadlands (something most of the other Princes have been doing as well).

As Nocturnal not only helped Ouroboros to ascend she even made him

her consort Azura considers her a traitor and too dangerous to have all

the power she currently does.

The army that is sieging the fort is made up of largely dremora and

some of the more brutish daedra who have been herded in to help.

This is one of those moments where I sincerely wish I had Blender

skills, because Azura's personal daedra, the Winged Twilights, don't

exist in-game. It'd be nice to have, but ultimately you'll be fighting

Dremora most of the time.

As for the armory and all that, yes, please do put such things in

there. I too found it odd how they seem to leave there but have

no amenities at all. The palace/fortress should very much seem

as a working castle, just somewhat disheveled do to the fighting.

The other things I wanted to include were semi-transparent (ghostly)

NPCs, the administrator Nocturnals who tend the castle, scrub the floors,

etcetera, but I'll have to edit the shader to do that I believe, and the

Uber-Nocturnal's, the shadow creatures from mr_siika's Dwarven City.

While the Uber-Nocturnals are on your side they are fairly dim,

so one or two wandering about killing everything they see is not

out of the question.

They trees look great, it will definitely enhance the atmosphere.

I have an idea for the Winged Twilights. Just take a pair of Alexander's Imp Wings, texture them blue, and add them to a coy of a Dunmer with different eyes. Also, there's a modders resource for a tail that takes on the textures of whatever peron it's on, could use that.

Maybe give them some fancy armor (or let 'em go naked, I dunno), give 'em purple hair, and boom! Winged Twilight.

I like it! Plus it makes much more sense for them to be coherent speaking NPCs.

The Twilights would be her generals and the defected dremora her churls.

I'll see if I can put one together and get back.

Cool. This is the tail: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9171 I'm sure someone skilled with blender can do something to make it more scorpion-like, maybe somehow add the Minitaur horn mesh to it, but make it blue?

Oh, and as soon as I get the obsidian block frm Alonso, I can make something. Maybe you'd like a training room for Nocturnal's forces?

'cause that'd be fun.
