ub3rman123
I feel like building a series of tunnels under the islands for the uber-nocturnals to live, and a small cave at the base of the castle. I'm also too lazy to use valuable filespace and make a new tileset, so I'll use the rocks I have now. Sound good?
zprospero
Sounds great! It seems very appropriate with the hole "hive" idea, and as violent asI'm saying they can be, it makes sense they wouldn't invite them upstairsto a dinner party. http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/zpro.gif
ub3rman123
In order for this to be a working castle, I'd need some real clutter. I mean, what kind of a bed would the armies of Nocturnal sleep on? Do they sleep? Do they eat? What weapons do I stick in the armory?
kieranfoy
As we're using Shivering Isles, copies of Shadowrend would be apropo, no? And I shouldn't think the warrior Nocturnal's need any sleep at all, although the Administrator Nocturnal's would need to, since they look human, and I dare say Nocturnal would have herself a lavish bedroom. ub3rman123
I'll put some living quarters for the admins inside one of the interior towers. And I'll leave Nocturnal's quarters to someone else.
kieranfoy
Personally, I'd kill for the oppurtunity to do it. It sounds like a blast.
ub3rman123
Y'know, I could retexture a few other weapons with the black sword texture..

ub3rman123
Hey, Zprospero, I'm thinking of retexturing some of the vanilla weapons to looks like the Blackaxe and Blacksword, to have something to stick in the armory. Would you have any need for weapons like that? I've noticed that the uber nocturnal skeleton is based on that of the minotaur; could they equip weaponry? zprospero
Yes, I tried it out and the Uber-Nocturnals can indeed wield weapons. That should be fun. I think black glossy textures on vanilla weapons, like Shadowrend andall, would be a nice touch to have around. Overall the color scheme ofthe place appears to be black, purple, and blue. I have an idea for the human-like clutter/furniture. We could alter this resource: Ancient Elven Furniture Some comparison, after I played with the textures some.
