It's pretty hard to prevent the player from falling through the mesh. At first I wanted to toss the player around a bit, but that caused problems every time. I spent quite some time trying all sorts of things, but the only method that seems to work most of the time is placing CollisionBoxes. Unfortunately that prevents you from moving during that scene. Better than falling into a void of nothingness, I guess.

I still need to find a way to merge the door into the NIF though. Right now there's a huge hole. :P

Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Actually, when I fell through I thought it was part of ride.

As for merging the door, couldn't you just copy the NiTriStrips

from door .nif over? Since the object is a collection of them anyway?

We could use an invisible activator if we needed to use the door.

The door doesn't have to be usable, I just can't figure out how to merge two meshes properly. :P I'm relatively new to NifSkope and modeling.

When exactly did you fall through? After that screech? That's when the collision boxes are disabled. I think they just have to be moved up a bit to fix all problems.

Well, all you have to do is open it in NifSkope and right click on the proper NiTriStrips and select

"Block > Copy Branch" and then right-click and choose "Block > Paste Branch" to move it over.

That doesn't work with collision though. You pretty much have to do that in Blender. I think.

Yeah, I fell through at the end. I ended up in the middle of part

of the mesh, I think. So, yeah, probably moving them up would do it.

I'm still working on Hircine's realm and I've run out of inspiration. So far what I've got is a miniature Pale Pass, with a lake (Fire doesn't react well to being on ice; it flickers), and some trees and rocks. What else is needed?

Also, I got around to the beta today, it is excellent. Only problems I've seen are the odd grammar problems/spelling (Ruse/rouse). Except for the Collector's Realm. Since lava does water damage, not fire damage, it hurts you regardless of whether the cuirass is equipped. Is it possible to rig it so that when the cuirass is equipped the water type in the cell is changed to something that has the look of lava, but no damage? I also think it looks a bit empty.. Can I have a crack at it?

Yeah. I've already fixed a lot of things. The grammar and spelling mistakes too.

As for the lava, it's supposed to burn you a little,

it's more of a reference to the book Ealdor gives

you which suggests that lava causes fire damage.

It now has a "Restore Health" enchantment that

keeps you alive. (Though that might not be there

in the beta, I can't remember anymore.)

Yes, I've completely redone the Collector's Realm.

But if you would like to expand his museum though,

that would be very nice, as I only have the small areas.
