RedClairefield
I had the 360, GOTY edition before getting the PC version, and I loaded all the DLC. The only thing I noticed that Broken Steel actually did until I hit level 21 or the "end game" was make the game overall more annoying. It put Mutant Overlords in the place of Super Mutant Masters, and things like that. It was also pretty glitchy. As far as the other DLC, I've played it to death and don't want to play it again (especially Mothership Zeta, that was the most absolutely UN-FUN add-on ever) So what am I missing if I don't get Broken Steel for the PC? WoogieMonster
Since most responses to this would just be opinions, it's probably best if you look over the Broken Steele wiki and try to gauge for yourself if you're missing any notable content http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Broken_Steel
RedClairefield
A good portion of the better mods require the Broken Steel DLC for some reason.
evilneko
I think Broken Steel's worth it if nothing else for fixing the ending Bethesda stuck us with (though I'll grant you, we should not have had to pay for that!), nifty new weapons and some amusing new quests and NPCs (Bigsley FTW!) aside. ;) I really gotta play more of the main quest on my current character. Pyro-girl needs a Heavy Incinerator, bad! (Though, slight problem in that Hellfire troopers may be a bit too much for her at the moment... grrr)
