  1. 1. Should the player be forced to stay in Utah for the duration of the mod's final act(s)?

    • Yes, for as long as it takes.

    • Yes, but only if the plot moves along swiftly.

    • No. The player should be free to come and go until the conclusion.

I think that being restricted to Utah would be alright, but only if there is a building or a cave that I can use as a house. Not a house designated to me, just some place that has a bed and a safe storage container, maybe even a crafting table or fire. When I play the game, I usually take everything that isn't nailed down, and then store it to use later. Something like the little survivalist lairs that were in Honest Hearts would be perfect!

Absolutely, you'll have your own quarters.

I'm actually -expecting- restricted travel >.> Vegas to the Deep Creek Mountains is most likely one hell of a trek on foot, I damn sure wouldn't want to do that more than once round-trip.

Besides - If you -did- forget something back at base (the only reason I can think of for going back halfway through the job, as I'm sure there will be various ways to resupply yourself in-country), you probably shouldn't be in the bounty business anyway. Proper prior planning prevents piss-poor performance (and your untimely death).

I am fine with restricted, so long as anything you might really really need is found in Utah. It would be more then alittle annoying to not have the basics in the area, not enough to unbalance but enough to get by at least.

Place to get Food/Water

Place to store stuff, rest, cook

Place to buy at least minimal ammo/meds if needed

Someone to repair stuff

I think that it should be free travel up to a point. Maybe when the courier knows for sure that your Mark (puns) is in Utah, no more travel. But before that, you would be allowed to travel back to grab that uber sniper or whatever is needed. Maybe there should be a penalty for doing that though, like any quest you have active from the mod might be failed because the trek back to the mojave is a very long one.

so i would like to be able to stay, however i would also like to be able to return at will after the questline has ended

i like to explore

also i think it would be cool to have infinitely re-playable bounties, like how the hitman mod works, but rewired for a bounty hunter

this is the first im hearing about it, i figured fire base zulu would be next, my NV is broken at the moment, but im still down for more NVB

They're included in the more recent versions of NVBII (1.3+). Just finish the main quest and then look above the monitor in the office - you'll see a poster with a question mark. Activate it for a random bounty. It refreshes after 72 hours, whether you succeed or fail. I should probably advertise that feature more, or perhaps package it in a separate mod. It doesn't seem like many players are using it. Any thoughts on that, forum-goers? Crap, I might have to make another poll.

As for the staying/returning discussion, thank you all for contributing. It's always nice to get player feedback on certain issues, particularly those that I'm indecisive about. Thanks!
