websterhamster
You may or may not have noticed that the waterwheels for the sawmills turn a rod (tree trunk) that goes straight into the wall of the sawmill. The reason the sawmill is elevated is that obviously there are gears and mechanisms in there for making the saw work. But, how could the sawmill operator repair or maintain his sawmill if it's encased in stone? Shouldn't there be a door (at least a texture, if not a working door) in the side for accessing the gears? Just my humble idea. I have neither the time nor expertise to do anything about it, so I shared here. ~WH
DoctorKaizeld
that'd be interesting, though a real life one would a floor based one near the lever.

Yeah, but you don't want real life things in Skyrim, do you? That'd be boring!
