Hello guys I'm in need to know what kind of graphics card do I have. Integrated or Dedicated? This it what it says here in my Adapter

Adapter Information-------------------------------------

Chip Type: GeForce GT 420

DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC

Adapter String: Geforce GT 420

Bios Information: 70.8.1f.0.c

Total Available Graphics Memory: 4095

Dedicated Video Memory: 1024

System Video Memory: 0 MB

Shared System Memory: 3071 MB

I needed to know so I can tell if I have a Dedicated card to be able to run Skyrim. So yeah help would be greatly appreciated.

If the answer I'm looking for is in plain sight please excuse my blindness.

Um... depends on your definition of "smoothly", really.

I run Skyrim on an intel hd 3000, but that means putting up with the occational 12-14 fps (Whiterun Planes...).

Yours should be a bit better, depending on your other system specs; at least yours got dedicated RAM for the graphics card - even if it's not much.

Thanks for letting me know that I have Dedicated GPU because Integrated sucks. Anyway GT 420 is not enough, planning on replacing it as I have Dedicated GPU I have currently 185$ dollars, and I came across a Nvidia GTX 560 which costs about 129.99$ and if I bought it I will have a change of 155.9$.

For some reason with my current GPU I played in Helgen dungeons and got 45 fps, which is a decent frame rate. While in whiterun I got 55. Everything then flew everywhere as I have vsync turned off. Capping your FPS with out vsync is a good fps boost.
