  1. Everytime I massacre bandits, or any other enemies, I always pile them in one big heap, and leave cheese there. Sheogorath will be pleased, I tell yah.
  2. At least I know what it is now, but could the link be possible? Much thanks by the way, there have been no replies to this, save yours, of course.
  3. Some semi-necromancy here, but don't spread misinformation, bro. No offense, it could actually send people to compulsively install visual related mods, only to be disappointed. I have a crappy notebook (GT 640m) which has double the VRAM and specs, and it can't even maintain a stable 40fps, constantly dropping to 30, which produces lag from the fluctuation of FPS. But that's only the 2k textures, the RealVision ENB, gives me about 40-35 but overall looks better.
  4. Simple tip here, and I'm talking abut experience. When I first got into moddng, I jumped and installed a ton of mods, simultaneously, very bad idea, ran into bugs, and was unable to find the culprit, so if modding, install mods one by one, and see how it turns out. But back on the problem, I see you're using HDT, I've seen some posters complain about it gradually degrading performance. So before you uninstall everything, deactivate HDT first and see how it is.
  5. Well, I can see your RAM is higher than 4 and in that case the formula is quite different. Take your total available VRAM, and I mean TOTAL available, not the dedicated memory, and subtract 350 from it, and that is what you put in the variable setting. Now for the reserved video memory, you simply decrease or increase it in increments of 128, don't go higher than 1024 though, and no lower than 128 either!
  6. You can change the Video memory size and the reserved memory vsriables specifically for your PC, I'll fill you in on that.
  7. So I was just looking around the web for some 1 Handed animations for thirdperson, and I came across a video regarding that, but the user has a very nice armor set that he used in the video. If any one of you has the mod or the link, kindly send it to me please. Oh and I'm talking about the armor with a silver-looking one with some hints of blue details. Here's the link of the video (On mobile atm, can't send a proper img)
  8. Edited the post above yours, make sure to read it and try it out, ENBoost is your best shot in CPU-intensive areas.
  9. You could manually set the Control Panel to override the Exe. That SKSE runs, just run Skyrim with SKSE then it'll appear on the list in the "Add application" or whatever it's called, in the Video Panel of course. Oh, and I swear ENBoost is a must-have, it really helps separate GPU and CPU consumption for more efficient methods, it boosted my framerates a LOT, removed stuttering, and eliminated CTDs, even with a crap ton of mods. It's also lightweight and configurable through the ENB menu (I believe).
  10. I have a feeling that you may be bottlenecked by your CPU, if so refer to the numerous stability guides for Skyrim, and since you have ENB, try the newest ENBoost Boris just released earlier this year, it really helps with stutters and CTDs due to numbered script extensive mods. This really confuses me since my processor is just about on par with yours even lower at a base of 4.0-4.4 Ghz. Or you could overclock the processor, either this by itself, a combination of the above, or all of them should give you guaranteed increase of performance. But my OS is Win7 though, and its perfect, might try that too.
  11. Well, you could always try the Video Control panel for Nvidia, this is really strange since my RIG is weaker than yours (GTX 780ti, 6 GB Ram) and I get 120fps always, even in the most demanding of areas, despite RealVision ENB, and 2k Textures. Turn Triple Buffering and Vsync ON, I had performance increase when I tried it. But leave Skyrim's own VSync on by default, turning it off may lead to physics bugs, or problems with the game's schedule and time on which NPCs and quests rely on.
  12. Hey, I see you're short on horsepower, I suggest you install these mods below this. They are ultimately the miracle worker when combined together, the second link is a guide (don't worry, it doesn't take long, and is very comprehensive) try to install as much as you can, preferably 4-5 of them. First one is a windows batch file that enhances the game's performance and visual quality, as it claims to do. Also, to achieve maximum performance, I also recommend you install the mods that Staind716 referred, it worked like charm on my old 3 year old Machine. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59305/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56179/?
  13. I wouldn't do that besides who needs 2k textures anyway? Choose wisely, 2k textures or ENB? Either one will make your game better. 50+ mods is ok though as you have a good CPU. 2k+ENB will put a burden on your GPU and your CPU if you combine them together I suggest downloading the 2k lite version instead, if you however installed the full version of 2k your pc will run Skyrim in an average of 20-30 fps which is bad.
  14. I already have that, now my game looks like semi ENB but I just need the anisotropic filtering for the ini thanks though.
  15. A monstrous laptop. That'll run Skyrim like silk. Good thing I upgraded my GPU to GTX Titan Black, ever since I upgraded my GPU Skyrim ran like butter.
  16. I seem to have a problem in the launcher, every time I set anisotropic filtering to 16 it reverts back to 4 everytime I close the launcher and come back. If I can't set it in the launcher then how can I set it in the Skyrim.ini or Skyrimprefs.ini? It's a minor problem but it's highly irritating as my computer and GPU can clearly handle it.
  17. Oh fast reply thanks I'm going to continue my Black Knight project that I was going to ask for a modder to do but nawh I'm doing it myself.
  18. Decent beast you have there, even powerful than my RIG. I'd say that'll handle Skyrim, with super rare lag in some areas. Quad cores are good for gaming--assuming you have a quad core CPU you'll be good to go.
  19. Just another dumb question does the C.K reduce performance or FPS in any way? I already have a lot of lag on my Skyrim. Just being curious as I saw a ****load of scripts in my Data folder after installing the C.K. So yeah dumb question. I'm new to Creation Kit.
  20. My current character is Cthulhu Ebonblade A Nord legionnaire who participated in the Great War. During the Great War Cthulhu's parents were slaughtered by the Thalmor in the midst of the Battle of the Red Ring. Cthulhu was enraged by the Thalmor's act and planned to avenge his beloved parents. He knowing that he was next to be slayed by the Thalmor made a journey to Skyrim. When he, arrived chaos was everywhere, the Civil War, the return of the Dragons much like in Cyrodiil. This however won't stop Cthulhu......
  21. Thanks for letting me know that I have Dedicated GPU because Integrated sucks. Anyway GT 420 is not enough, planning on replacing it as I have Dedicated GPU I have currently 185$ dollars, and I came across a Nvidia GTX 560 which costs about 129.99$ and if I bought it I will have a change of 155.9$. For some reason with my current GPU I played in Helgen dungeons and got 45 fps, which is a decent frame rate. While in whiterun I got 55. Everything then flew everywhere as I have vsync turned off. Capping your FPS with out vsync is a good fps boost.
  22. The Intel Core 2600k is a good core I have it myself or another similar one. I recommend buying Nvidia 500 series to 700 series and not buy an Integrated one those are bad for gaming. Anyway my friend's Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 ran skyrim with RealVision ENB on Ultra High settings AA x8 and everything maxed out. He got about 20 fps lol and his skyrim crashed in Helgen. When he bought a GTX 760 same settings and he had 50 fps in Helgen and 40 fps everywhere else.
  23. Hello guys I'm in need to know what kind of graphics card do I have. Integrated or Dedicated? This it what it says here in my Adapter Adapter Information------------------------------------- Chip Type: GeForce GT 420 DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC Adapter String: Geforce GT 420 Bios Information: 70.8.1f.0.c Total Available Graphics Memory: 4095 Dedicated Video Memory: 1024 System Video Memory: 0 MB Shared System Memory: 3071 MB I needed to know so I can tell if I have a Dedicated card to be able to run Skyrim. So yeah help would be greatly appreciated. If the answer I'm looking for is in plain sight please excuse my blindness.
  24. LOL I helped you by accident anyway you're welcome. I'm glad I've helped a fellow Skyrim player.
  25. I'm afraid that I will be no further help for you as I had this exact same issue and I fixed it by replacing saturation boost with the contrast booster. One tip: delete IMAGINATOR ASAP as it is known to cost your save games to bloat and load longer.
