Funny Oblivion Incidents

Very nice stories here

When I first played oblivion I immediately installed some mods, among them was adrenaline...

When I just got out of prison I decided to steal a horse and ride to Jauffre. Riding to Chorrol I accidently rode into the middle of a group minotaurs. They all stared at me for a moment and I thougth oops. I jumped of my horse and ran away, leaving my horse behind. I ran up a hill and then looked back. I saw my horse going down surrounded by seven minotaurs. At that moment some guy rans past me and attacks the minotaurs. He disappears in the fight. A few minutes later the minotaurs are still fighting, now among themselfs. A mounted imperial guard comes riding and then kills the last of the minotaurs. He then turns to me and arrests me. After serving sentence I'm again travelling to chorrol. I arrive at the place and see the man lying on his horse, his hands over his eyes as if crying. All the minotaurs laying in a circle around them. Only then I relised that the horse was that man's horse and that he had followed me for stealing it. Touched by the love for his horse I picked flowers and dropped them on the man. That was my first Oblivion experience..

Okay, this just happened to me this weekend.

This is my first time playing though with OOO. Also the first time I've used nude body replacer mods, which adds a lot to the game, in a perverted kind of way. But I didn't expect this...

It's early in the game. I've just been through the Hero of Kvatch quests, and am triumphantly making my way down the hill to the encampment, ready to show off my new enchanted Kvatch armor.

I get to the bottom, and the encampment is in total disarray... people running everywhere, yelling, state of high excitement. One or two of the Kvatch survivors are lying there dead. Looking around, I figure out that I've just happened on the aftermath of a random mountain lion attack.

Now, who remembers Sigrid, the cutie-pie potions merchant among the Kvatch refugees? In case you forgot, here's a reminder:

Looking around the aftermath of the mountain lion attack, there's a few evident casualties. But I'm not paying attention to them, because apparently, in the mayhem of the attack, the mountain lion managed to tear off Sigrid's blouse, and she and her ample naked breasts are now bustling around the encampment. It was like my game of Oblvion had suddenly turned into late-night Cinemax.

Needless to say, I bought a bunch of potions. And, I'd like to think, some lubricant.

Don't you only get minotaurs when you are level 12? If a mod changed that then which one is it?

Another one... Got into Shivering Isles for the first time and saw Suicide Rock (Or something like that). Tried talking to the ghosts but they didn't reply. Saw the water at the bottom and decided to jump, the water was shallow and I splattered on the floor... (Why don't I ever listen to names of places?)

I was in bloodcrust caverns yesterday or the day before... Anyway, I had 100% chameleon, so obviously the vampires couldn't see me. Two of them started talking:

Vamp 1: How are you today?

Vamp 2: FANTASTIC! Thanks of asking!

The irony being that they are vampires. Who have an uncurable disease.

EDIT: Thought of another one.

After Hieronymus Lex is reassigned, when asked about the Grey Fox, you are given the scripted response from an anvil citizen, "He's that theif the imperial watch is always after".

I can't think of any other right now (great memory I have eh?), I'll edit this if any more come to mind

Many vampires enjoy being vampires. Ever meet Vicente? He loves his vampiric life. Those who didn't actively seek vampirism have, by now, accepted their fate.

One time I was taking the hard way to the Imperial City, I saw a guard on top of a bridge. He grunts and spins hitting another IL Soldier who then does a PERFECT backflip and lands with his ribs on the bridge and his legs hanging off! The guard sheathes his blade and walks past the dead guy, tipping his hands with his feet causing the dead body to flip and fall several feet to the shores below, where several mudcrabs scuttle up to feast.

I was using MMM at the time(had to disable it due to random crashes :pinch: ) and I heard a fireball blast. I then walked over a hill to see a MASSIVE (about 30) legion of Implings and mostly Ancient Imps. They were moving as one giant cloud along this path blasting everything near them with random fireballs. Sheep were flying and an Imperial Forester drew his blade for the cause and was blasted like 20 feet away! I was able to soil the ground with gallons of Imp blood and kill them all, as my character is level 50, but I still die sometimes! I just thought it was funny how this massive cloud of pissed off Imps was slowly hovering along and roasting everything in sight!

So I was in an oblivion world and killed everyone in the sigillium sanguis. I just took the sigil stone when I heard the combat music starting up. I ran around and then I saw a ragged audens avindus attacking me out of nowhere.

In short, epic fight...I guess audens even knows how to find people in oblivion worlds (he attacks you after corrupt watchmen quest)

I was doing the "Dagon Shrine" part of the main quest, when Mankar Camoran is giving his speech to everone. Now, my character is a Wood Elf. She is supposed to be under cover. (Mythic Dawn I guess). I'm standing on the upper level looking down and my character suddenly starts to slip over the edge and fall. I hit the bottom and my character pops up and I hear someone yell "I do not fear death!!" (this is one of the Mythic Dawn battle cries when you fight them). I'm looking around trying to figure out who the hell said that, I'm the only other Elf in the near vacinity and I figured out it was my character! I guess she wanted to make sure that her cover wasn't blown. I LMAO!!! I couldn't believe that she actually played her part. It was a riot. Best incident so far...

well, i have a kind of quick one.

for the reccomendation quests, you have to kill the mage, and i dont know who at bethesta softworks saw this scenario appropriate;

reccomendation quest with (not really) inocent lady who attacks (still innocent in gaurds eyes)

a gaurd position less than 50 meters away from crime scene (soon to be anyway)

a portal spitting out daedra just a few yards downhill

here i go, i get attacked, battlemages help, gaurd runs out of knowwhere with 3 dremora following (and a daerdroth) gaurd attacks male battlemage, dremora and daedroth attack gaurd, battlemages in crossfire, gaurd dies, crazy lady hitting me dies, battlemages die, and i am left to deal with a fully healthed dremora kynmarcher and a pissed off daerdroth. not funny.

could you follow that? be honest with yourself.

I rented a bed in The West Weald Inn last night. 'Up the stairs, along the corridor and last door on the right'. Fine.

but when i got there there was a woman asleep in the bed. I double checked to make sure i'd got the right room but sure enough, that was my room.

Ok, i thought, i'll sleep quietly and all will be fine. I don't mind the intrusion if she doesn't.

After an hour i was visited by Lucienne Lachance.

Back to sleep..

Six hours later i woke again and there were now three of us in the bed. A random man had bedded down beside us during the night.

I don't know what goes on in the other Inns around Cyrodiil but in Skingrad 20 septims gets you more than you bargained for.
