HaloGhostV8
Ok I got a new laptop with windows vista home premium and upgraded to 7 professional. It stored my old data in a windows.old file and installed windows 7. Anyway I installed Fallout 3 and a handful of mods: Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmEnclaveCommander-OA-Pitt-Steel.esmDarNifiedUIF3.esp1PipboyPDA.espEVE.espEVE Operation Anchorage.espFellout-Full.espFellout-PointLookout.espTailor Maid.espTailor Maid Black Retex.espTailor Maid Anchorage.espTailor Maid PITT.espTailor Maid Brokensteel.espDCInteriors_ComboEdition.espMegaton House and Theme Overhaul.espMiniHideout.espDK_Bullet Time.espSprint Mod.esp After I installed these mods I loaded up fallout and it froze after I pressed thee load button. So I restarted my laptop and just ignored it. Then I loaded it up again. This time I loaded up my save and the screen screwed up on me and it went to the blue screen. So can anyone tell me what the hell I did wrong :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: EDIT: I uninstalled Pip-boy readius and it started to work perfect. Then I reinstalled it and it literally made the screen fuzzy. Like turned the picture into a grainy tv screen EDIT numero dos: I just found out my problem has something to do with running multiple FOMOD files. So again what did I do wrong? evilneko
That is....odd, to say the least. BSODs are pretty much universally caused by hardware and driver issues.
HaloGhostV8
:thanks: Well nice to know I'm a special case One more thing: when I extracted readius files from the FOMOD and installed them manually it caused the Blue screen a 3rd time :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
HaloGhostV8
Ok so I tried something new: One thing I noticed about all my problems is that nothing started to go wrong until immediately after my first level up. (also I read something about people getting CTDs when in conversations on windows 7 so I figured I'd also see if I had that problem too (I didn't)) So I decided to see what would happen If I deactivated all of my mods and then did some stuff in megaton. Then I saved and reactivated them (I even reactivated 2 FOMOD files). And nothing went wrong  So I thought It might have something to do with leveling up and then I cheated for xp and leveled. And still nothing went wrong. The only thing wrong was a very slight lag when I turn fast.
mcdavid94
do you mean when playing you are getting a blue screen? not neccisrly a bsod but it comes up and then does some check then turns off? if so i am having the same problem. im running a: Asus G51J-A1 - Windows 7 64bit home prem. Intel i7 7204gb ram320gb 7200RPM x 2nvidia gtx 260m 1gb cache and its a lappy, runs the game great too at ultra high or w.e its called. after i get the blue screen i try to turn on the computer into normal mode and it doesnt boot just gets stuck at windows just before the login screen.then i go to safemode then restart and it loads in fine. i've run a full virus scan and nothin, its a brand new computer and it only has happened in fallout 3. twice. also i seem to crash alot to desktop. on the "can you run it?" website i checked my computer for fallout 3 and said i cant play it cause its not compatible with 7, maybe some issues there causing this? and if what i have said has nothing to do with what you are saying, sorry
