Jagged or blurry effect

Hi i use to play skyrim on the 360 but i just installed it on PC and noticed something odd right off the bat. There is this weird effect that i notice most at the "continue, new game, load game, quit" screen. The dragon symbol is jagged on the wings and all of the text is not clear and smooth. It kind of looks like i'm playing a Sega genesis game on an HD tv (pixelated and not smooth).

I turned on my xbox and went to the same screen and flipped back and forth on my TV to check and the xbox is definitely clear clean and crisp compared to this. I took a screen shot to better show what im experiencing but when i previewed the screen shot It looks the way it's suppose to, no jagged edges, no blurry or 16 bit text.

I should also note that the text looks just as bad in game, any menu or person or objects names looks just as fuzzy, and the rest of the game looks funny too (like the dragon symbol does). My drivers say they are up todate.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

AMD Phenom II X6 3.2Ghz Processor

4GB of RAM

Windows 7 (64-Bit)

GeForce GTX 660

My resolution is 1920 x 1080 (for both the computer and Skyrim)

I decided to try and see if opening skyrim in window mode would allow me to take a screen shot that showed the problem. So I started it in window mode and the problem was gone! I fooled around with changing the resolutions for a bit but the only thing that seemed to take away the problem was having it in window mode. I would really rather play the game full screen if i could, any ideas?

Thanks, my Anti-Aliasing (in skyrim) is as high as i can put it, 8 samples. I turned off anti-aliasing in the Nvidia control panel, but that didn't seem to change anything. I figured I'd try setting it to "enhance" just to see what would happen, but still no change. I even tried setting anti-aliasing off in both skyrim and Nvidia and the game still looks correct in window mode, and of course bad in full screen.

What Monitor are you using? what is the default Resolution of the monitor?

Make sure your monitor is set to its default, and try the "enhance" settings in Nvidia. Try with the Game setting low like say 2x and in Nvidia set it to "Enhance " and try a hybrid AA....IE "4x4 supersample (d3d only)" You will need Nvidia Inspector to get the good AA settings...lol. Think that one was the one i was using...it was either that or .....8x [8x CSAA (4 color + 4 cv samples)]....been along time...

Heck i can crank the AA/AF so high in Skyrim i get 13 FPS...Gotta love Nvidia..using SLI i have a choice to set "SLI 64X CSAA" Looks fantastic BUT ya i get 13 FPS...lmao since using An ENB i don't get to use that...But the AO and DOF are worth the trade-off.

When using Nvidia ...you are setting things in the "Skyrim Profile"? IF you are setting things in the default profile, Nvidia may be changing to what is in the Skyrim profile and that may be different.
