Nexus Set
I would say GPU, though I can provide no technical information on it.
billypnats
hmm...If no NPCs were present in some random forest area, and you have 15FPS, what would be the cause?

ptbptb
hmm...If no NPCs were present in some random forest area, and you have 15FPS, what would be the cause? Grass? It is certainly worth trying LowPoly Grass and Short Grass V3 anyway.
Unavi
Grass? It is certainly worth trying LowPoly Grass and Short Grass V3 anyway. Or alternativly try typing TG in the console.
billypnats
yea that gives like 3fps (removing grass I mean) I think I've already tried pretty much all the optimization mod there is (script opt. operation opt. polygone, etc, etc) My specs are ATI4850 512mb @ default clocksAMD phenom 9950 @2.6ghz, cant remember the cache but nothings really overclocked3gb of 800mhz ram600w PSUand I can't remember what the mobo is but I think its decent imo, PCI-e 2.0 and other standard features
Illiad86
It shouldn't run like that on a 4850...how many mods do you have other than those? Running those optimization mods don't help for many people. I've used them and all they do is drop my FPS or do nothing at all.

Illiad86
Deadly Reflex should be loaded at the very end :) and your UOPs for Oblivion and SI should be loaded before that other mod there... But I'm not sure, you are using lots of major overhaul mods, I don't know how that effects performance as I have not used any of those (not my preference), but I think they would be hard on the game, no? Really shouldn't run that bad on your card...that's weird.
