Dragongreatsword
An overhaul mod that adds new monsters or new skins for darkspawns would be great! Every hurlock you see have the same looking armor, faces and skintone... and this hurts the immersion of the game. For both Oblivion and Fallout 3 there is an mod called MMM which adds new monsters or new skins. A level balance is necessary for this game, because when you reach higher levels the game becomes too easy. For example abominations have to be stronger and demons as well, since I found them too weak (according to the lore abominations are very powerful...). Better loot, when you loot chests or NPCs you always get potions or other unimportant items. Why there has to be worthless items (daggers...) when you loot? Why can't get you an sword or an armor or something else that has worth? Really the loot system needs to be improved... and the lack of variety of monsters makes this great game boring, after a while.

TGBlank
If someone ever does an overhaul, it'd likely be to fulfill a personal desire and definitely not be to satisfy a random bumped mod request.Overhauls take a long, long, LONG time to make. Aria C
an overhual mods not likely to happen soon for many reasons the main being that the tools do not exist to make the mods like ooo, mmm, frans and fcom for DA, there is also the issue of the map size, DLC content and so on to take into account. Alot of modders that I know looked at DA played it for a bit and then went back to thier former communities a bit dissapointed with the very limmited options and the nead to compete for world space with bioware's current and future DLC projects. To be honest I do not blame them one bit. Nobody wants to spend months a year or more pefecting a mod that adds significant and substantial content to the game only to see it replaced over night by a DLC that adds 30 mins of insubstantial content for yet another armor set thats currently available in the game. while this may seem unrelated to your post its not, one group of modders encourages another which encourages another and so on and as they leave others fallow \. So without a team that adds content simliar to something like oblivions blood and mud you do not get the team that creates the over huals and because those teams are not interested in da the code monkeys take no real interest in further developing the tools to make it all possible. this dosnt mean that it wont happen at all it just means that its going to take a great deal of time to happen. DA does have its charm despite its flaws and should a capable team take it up on themselves to copy the main campaign and use it as template for creating a new campaign then that would open up the world for modders and effectively remove the Bioware threat. Idealy after the new campaign worlds set, the main quest line should be deactivated the majority of darkspawn should be removed and all of the areas should be unlocked. world space would be given to modding teams per-request and the completed works would be submitted to the main team to be looked over checked for conflicts and implemented. the other gripe that some modders who left DA had was the fast travel feature, additional areas could be created and implemented to make it possible to walk to any place on the world map none of this is an over night fix and its only a few examples of whats neaded but every bit of it and more is neaded for any substatial mod to be created for DA
Dragongreatsword
Thanks for the answer Aria C. I hope the modders will be successful at making this game even better in the near future!
