ric36 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Hi, I am trying to modify the Ancient Elven Armor set to be material Silverite instead of Veridium. I cannot find a good tutorial that explains how to modify an item in an existing module. Can anybody point me in the right direction? ThanksRic36

ric36 Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 Yes, it is, and I modified the item after loading the items file, however, it has not changed in game, so I am obviously doing something wrong. I have found the tool to be very unintuitive and the wiki tutorials are all about adding stuff not about modifying existing things in the game. At any rate, I have now completed the game. It's replayability is limited, so this is no longer all that important to me. Time to get back to Fallout, I think.
SiriuzGrey Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Overriding the .uti files only work BEFORE you get the item. IF you have the item in your inventory, it won't change.
