manually working with FNV Plugins.txt

Some stuff went squiffy in mods when I was trying to 'force' some mod weapons into Project Brazil's world space (I know, I know.. ) Anyway I ended up thinking the mod-manager wasn't doing what I wanted it to (I was mistaken, but never mind) so I just attacked the plugins list directly with a measure of success.. a pretty small measure but I came to like the feeling of control I get from copying the title of a .esp and pasting it directly into the list where I want - then locking it read-only!

 

But I'm a bit puzzled by the hex code numbers. FalloutNV.esm will always be 1st (unless you let the game's vanilla launcher make a mess of it!!!) So Kaya47NordicBags.esp is 27th in load order or down the list. That means it has an XX000 number of 1b or possibly 1a or 1c but somewhere around there.. no? But it's contents (the bags) turn up with a [gbo] item code like 0a0 - I can't figure this out at all :blush:

 

I'm sure there is a pattern to this and I'd really like to get a handle on it. Any clues, tips or point me to a page that explains this stuff.
