ptbptb
I think 1920x1080 is just too optimistic for 512MB graphics card. You probably need a 1GB graphics card for 'good' fps resolution. What's it like at 1280 x 1024? At 256MB (my computer :-( then you get fairly sucky fps at 800x600
DavidBudreck
I believe it is Oblivion, not your Graphics card. I recently upgraded to what was top of the line in 2006 to what was top of the line in 2008 and saw no performance increase whatsoever. I am running 1360 x 1024 with a 1gb graphics card. I also get FPS of 5-8 in certain areas, lower in others (like 3-4). The problem is Oblivion, not the Graphics Card.
Vagrant0
Fully Tweak .ini fileExplain? Some .ini changes can cause rather significant losses in performance. Turning down AF, removing QTP, and removing Improved Flora and Trees 1 and 2 should probably improve performance as well. Large textures can eat up alot of your video memory.
