mkav
Hi, I need to figure out how to use a silent MP3 with a character I have made. When I'm adding dialogue I can't figure it out. Any help please?
zprospero
The easiest way to do this is to download TES4Gecko. It's a fantastic tool with a lot of features. There's a button that will let youselect your .esp and will generate the silent MP3s and the .lip files for anydialogue created in the .esp. wizardmirth
Or just download Universal Silent Voice. Lip-syncing doesn't make sense to me when there's no voice work to be heard. Also with USV there are no sound files needed, so your mod will be much smaller in size.
zprospero
Ah, I was unaware of that tool. To be honest, the unvoiced lip synch is really creepy to me,but TES4Gecko does not require OBSE and creates the necessaryfolders on it's own. You can always go into the folder and delete the .lip files after it's done. But wizardmirth is right, it will drive up the file size.
