Stronger Darkspawn while "Final onslaught"

Hi there,

 

I just finished the game my second time and recognized that all the "normal" darkspawn in the late game, except ogre´s, alpha´s etc in Redcliffe and the battle for denerim are lvl 0, obviously thats the point in one hitting all of them... i think that takes away the difficulty and the epic moment in defeating the blight... so, is there a way to level those monsters up or give them more HP so they aren´t insta gibs?

 

level 10 or 15 would be good imho, just make them take more damage... there isnt a real battle at the gates for example, your just running through them like a hot knife through butter :( you dont even need the armys you recruited, its far too easy, especially when you look at the rest of the game

 

is it possible/has it already been done?!

I second this. The one hit wonders get old fast and I have to create new tactics for my whole party so they dont needlessly burn through mana/stamina fighting these non-entities). The 'Dead Trenches' in the deep roads was amazing and much more satisfying than the final onslaught.

 

You know, just for sh*ts and giggles I did NOTHING at the Denerim city gates (on Nightmare) and my allies and other blues killed everyone without lifting a finger. If that is case, then all of it should have been a cut scene instead of a waste of time. Harder enemies would make this part of the game more enjoyable.

I like this idea aswell, Hell just getting a kill at the gates was a challenge at times. You'd start after a darky an nope guess not, how bout that one ....nope he's dead too. was far more annoying than my dieng a bloody death at any givin time ever was ...
