tinylewtgriffon
Ok, so last week I bought the book, haven't finshed and since I have yet to find a topic about it (other then the whole 200 years later one), I'm going to start one. Now, I'm going to capitalize the next sentance for people...Ahem...DO NOT READ THIS FOR MANY SPOILERS WILL BE REVEALLED! Ok, let's go... What the Hell happened to the Empire?! I mean, our charecters go all that way to save Cyrodiil, then complete chaos breaks out! Morrowind is invaded and who knows what happened to the Dunmer, Provinces leave the empire and Guilds fall apart! It seems when we beat the Shivering Isles, all those spots in the guilds we held have gone "Make farting sounds with lips". Now, we are aware there is a second book going to be comming out at some point, hopefully before the new game, or even spoilers of the new game, so we can figure out what is going to happen next. Reading this book, you have to ask, what are we doing in the next game? What is going to happen to the Empire? And what the heck are we (sheogorath) doing?! Hell, I'd leave the Shivering Isles to come visit Tamriel all the time and clean stuff up! We're adventures Damn it (lol)! Anyway...Thoughts? Comments? Enjoying the book? I am ^.^ (W00t for TES) NOTE: I'm not bashing anything, I'm just in a state of confusion what's going on and what is going to happen. Cheers! Vagrant0
Yet another reason why fan fiction should never be treated as cannon.
katashy
Yet another reason why fan fiction should never be treated as cannon. Is it fan-fiction? It's an actual, critically acclaimed writer who wrote it. Anyway, is the book worth getting? I've been thinking of getting it for a while.
tinylewtgriffon
You should get it, it's well written and it's correct, following the sotry and what not, but just reading what happens to Tamriel will drive you a tad mad lol
DeathWarrior
Yet another reason why fan fiction should never be treated as cannon. My opinion exactly. I don't want any book determining the fate of my characters, that's for me to decide when TES 5 comes out.

Illiad86
Reading it felt like reading fanfiction for me as well, except well written :P It wasn't too bad but meh...I'm a little upset I spent 10 bucks on it. I've read a few of his other books and wasn't very impressed. I don't know why Bethesda even wanted to do this, but whatever. I just want TESV.... tinylewtgriffon
The point of the books are really just to kind of fill in the blanks for the next game but with what's happened in the book, it's confusing and reading it, it makes you even more confused what's going to happen in the next game
Thor.
 maybe because he's creating his Character through the Character creator screens and having all those prompts come up and stuff, ya i can see it being confusing, i mean that's how Oblivion starts right  i haven't read it and never will.
