tsff19 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I have recently learned that the "Of Noble Birth" quest is bugged in that it cannot be successfully completed unless the PC is a Dwarf Noble. Is this true, and has anyone managed a bugfix yet for non-Dwarven Noble PCs? Also, if this has been asked before, I apologize.
TGBlank Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 The quest is tied to an action you may or may not do during the dwarven noble origin. In fact, most origins have origin specific or mini-quests or rewards that are related to them.
tsff19 Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 Huh, that's weird. The quest's section on the wiki's bug page made it sound like it could be done no matter what your Origin was. Thanks for the clarification.
Stormwind32 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Is this the one with the beggar whose family wants her to kill her son before coming back home? I have completed this quest multiple times with Non-dwarven PCs.
tsff19 Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 Nope, its the one where you have to convince Harrowmont/Bhelen to accept the Dwarven Noble PC's illegitimate son into their noble house. I at first figured it was exclusive to the Dwarf Noble PC, but the bug page on the wiki worded the entry as if any Origin could attempt the quest, which led to this topic.
boblehero Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 This quest only begins if The Warden is a male dwarf from the Dwarf Noble Origin and had relations with Mardy during the origin story. quote from the wikia
