NeilUK02
Hi All I've been trying to get my head round FO3edit which I just can't do! I get different colour text than the guide says I should! However that isn't the reason for the post, while trying to understand FO3edit I've been loading mods , changing orders etc. But I noticed these lines when loading Pointlookout.esm, so I loaded it on its own and sure enough they are still there "[00:05] Background Loader: Error: record TACT contains unexpected (or out of order) subrecord VNAM[00:05] Background Loader: Errors were found in: DLC04FF02MarcellaSpeaker "Speaker" [TACT:0101004F]" Does this mean I need to re-install or is everyone getting this? Hope I dont need to re-install it takes 5 hours for the DLC disk to install.

Hope I dont need to re-install it takes 5 hours for the DLC disk to install. I just ran my loadorder & PointLookout.esm (GOTY) through FO3edit & I didn't get the error lines you got. Though the "5 hours" part makes me wonder if there isn't some incompatibility with your DVD drive. You might try playing the game & if it's especially crashy in PLO then consider reinstalling the DLC. And it may help if you try installing while in "safe mode". I hope I was of some help. Hi thanks for the reply I read somewhere on a Bethesda forum that the DLC CD is known for taking ages to install, can't say I am having loads of crashes in Point Lookout so maybe its not a big problem. Thanks again
spinality
FWIW (long after original post) I notice this same behavior with a clean install of the standard DVD GOTY edition.
