bben46 Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 Yes it is safe. We are very proactive in removing anything that might contain viruses - and we actually see very few of those. Most mods are packaged as compressed files (zipped) and can be easily checked by an antivirus before unzipping. It is saving them to a folder on my desktop, but not one associated with Skyrim SE or NMM as far as I can tell. Thank you for any helpou can provide! Our current mod manager is Vortex, which comes with extensive documentation to help you get started. If you switch to Vortex, you can also ask for help in our support forum.
