Dianadoesitbest
I get so fed up casting magic in Oblivion that Everytime I try to make a mage character, I just feel like the game play itself is too dull. Then When I played Fallout 3 The V.A.T.S system gave me an idea. What if we could implement this into oblivion? It would work like so: It would work very much similar to VATS. The game would pause you would select a target. and cast. And as always a cinematic of the spell being cast. Hit chance can be based on your total magicka at tie of casting the spell and your skill level in that field of magic. The only spell that would not have this effect are self spells. It might even be cool to have a similar system for markmen. I do not have the skill to implement this. But it would be worthwhile for a project team to take up maybe. grmblf
You might want to try paladicprince's Targetting System. It's not exactly what you're describing but it auto-aims your shots.
Dianadoesitbest
Thats to elaborate to operate. Which is why something modelled after vats would be nice.
zprospero
This has been discussed before: VATS for Oblivion While it is technically possible, it would require an astounding amount of work. If someone decides to do this, all power to them, but you might want to trysome of what's suggested there, even if it takes some time to get used to.
