mechine
I don't mean to sound rude, but you are wasting your time and our time as well. There's a reason for all those read me's and all those guides. By all means 20thcentury weapons is one of the most complex mods out there. You need to start out small with tiny simple stuff an work your way up. We feel your pain though. Give it a few months an you'll figure it out. XP is a great system to run this on, so you have that going for you.
phoneyLogic
A Vanilla Fallout 1.7 without Mod should be quite stable under XP. You could try one thing:Make sure, that you enabled "show hidden Folders" in your OS (Point VIII ) Hidden Folders and File Extensions)Then go to:C:\ Documents \ username \ Lokal Settings \ Applications \ Fallout3 idk if the Path is correct, since I'm german and, well ... you know ... different language, different folder names - I just translated it  , so ... find the Fallout3 Folder somewhere there :P. You'll find some files, check if the following files are there and if so, delete them:DLCList.txtplugins.txtRun the default launcher and they'll be created again. Go there again and check, if these files are there. If not, then there might be a problem with your user accounts under XP, with FOMM or sth like this. FOMM is awesome, but you should use the default launcher first. Btw, I'm doing so: 1st ticking mods via the default launcher active. Then I start the game via the Fallout.exe. ( I made a desktopshortcut )
Smosh
iv tryed reintalling the fomm the only thing left 2 do is reintsal :ninja: Are you saying that you installed FOMM and now all you need to do is install Fallout 3? If so, why are you trying to install things into a nonexistent game? You need to install Fallout 3 first followed by the DLC's.

Smosh
im no loger useing 20th century weapons im trying a diftrent mod but that leves the dlc :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: If I were you I'd do the following 1. Uninstall Fallout 32. Run CCleaner to clear the registry.3. Reboot.4. Install Fallout 35. Insert Disc 2 and right click and Explore6. Right click on the .exe file and Run as Administrator if using Vista or double click the .exe file if not.7. You should now have an up to date 1.7 version of Fallout 3 If using Vista install Fallout 3 into a different folder than your default C://Program Files one. Don't touch any mods until you get this sorted!

phoneyLogic
Have you downloaded it?I just ask because it seems to me that you are not really doing, what people are tring to suggest you. To point it out: it's really important to reinstall the "clean way", just the way like Chuck Noris would do. :ninja: Just like Smosh said. If you need some links e.g. for the ccleaner, then you'll find some here: >> LINK << (Point 6 "Reinstalling Fallout") What's the problem with the CCleaner? Already installed? Double-clicked? :whistling:
