Fun Warcraft (RTS) Spells!

My next play through I wanted to roll a character similar to Grom Hellscream from Warcraft 3 (Blademaster). He would focus on Agility, light armor, speed, critical hits, precision, and illusion spells.

I was surprised to find no Mirror Image type spells on the nexus. For those who don't know what this ability was, it would create a copy of the blademaster (1-3, depending on the rank) Who took X amount of extra damage, and dealt none. They were simply there to confuse the enemy and increase the survivability of the Blademaster. This would be an awesome addition to anyone focusing on light, or little to no armor. There could be various ways to balance the spell if implemented into skyrim, from mana cost to cooldown, etc, and it would have a duration before despawn.

Then I started thinking, there are a lot of other spells from warcraft that would work great with different builds in skyrim.

*Stance spells, a variety of sticky buffs, where only one can be active at a time. Weather it be focused on critical hit chance, movement speed, damage, spell damage, range damage, aoe companion buffs, etc. (won't go into too much detail unless this intrigues someone)

*Windwalk- Was a Blademaster ability. It was essentially a camo / muffle spell that increased your movement speed for x amount of time. If you used an attack to break the spell it resulted in a critical hit. Many ways you could balance this spell to avoid abuse or god mode status. I have a few ideas, but how would you balance this spell?

*Far Sight (not the actual name) - A scouting spell with a set range. Cast in a selected location and it will move your camera to the area, where you can look around as if your character were there. would be useful to cast into a fort or something to scout the inside before you moved in. Could have a ball of light graphic or something similar, which could or could not be seen / attacked by NPC's. You would not be able to move anything other than the camera angle.

*Earthquake- Large AOE spell casted in a selected location with a set radius and time limit. Slows the movement speed of anyone within it's radius. Could either set NPC to walk, or have a random knockdown chance per pulse (wouldn't affect the PC). Doesn't have to be earthquake, as i'm not sure how you'd graphic the spell. Could be a frost circle or something.

*Reincarnation- Not really sure about this one, but it could be cool. Revives player upon death, or gives you the option to do so. Could use an expensive or rare reagent, or have a cooldown of some sort, etc. the spell itself would be considered a buff, and would probably have a duration.

*Blink- Teleports player X distance away in the direction they're facing.

I don't know how to mod, I don't know what it entails. So what i'm suggesting might not be worth the trouble, or even possible at all.

There are other spells I'd like to see implemented, but these were cool spells from Warcraft RTS that I thought would be cool to have in the game.

half of these aren't possible and the other half have already been made... also the duplication spell is only possible if you run as a default character (in other words absolutely no editing to the character, you half to go with a default pre-made vanilla one). this is because you will be creating several new NPCs that act as allies in a fight, and you can only do this if they have been pre-made (hence things like Summon skeleton).

already a couple stance mods either in the making or on one of the three top Mod sites.

Windwalk has several variations already made... honestly there's already Muffle in game and mods that add increased speed spells.

Far Sight would be incredibly glitchy and a pain to make, but I don't know if its impossible. just seems to OP to me and kind makes the free roam camera command a spell instead of a console command... so to me its cheating.

Earthquake sounds like a bunch of different spells such as Slow and Freeze. both of which do just what you'd expect them to do and are part of the many many existing spell overhauls

Reincarnation? seriously? kinda makes you invincible and the whole auto save system pointless. just don't die, its really not a hard game. also I don't know how possible this is. its seem possible, if someone wants to make it.

Blink has been made already... with that name too.

I don't want to seem like a jerk here, but why don't you go look into all of the spell mods. you'll find what you're lookin for.

Yes all the spells are there in SKYRIM but how about the weapons and armor on Warcraft or beasts it would make SKYRIM more exciting & there is one spell that's not on SKYRIM. Summoning a water element or changing a tree into a treant(a tree that can fight) or summoning a tornado to help you fight a group of enemies or how about the auras( eg: true shot aura which increases your & your followers arrow damage) etc...

you guys realize theres only so much this game can handle right? I mean we cant have a tree commin to life to fight for you, its not what this engine is built for.

though for the armors, there are tons of Warcraft armors on the nexus they just aren't usually going by their usual names

Windwalk, as it was in WC3, is basically invisibility+muffle+backstab (sneak perk). You can probably manage it without using mods.

Not sure about earthquake (maybe work from Fire Storm?).

Reincarnation could be like the Avoid Death restoration perk, but triggered by "death", of that's possible. If we're going by the WC3 version, then it would have a cooldown (Avoid Death's is 24 in-game hours, so that could work), or if you're going by old-school WoW, then a reagent would be needed. If you're fine with Avoid Death as-is, then that's another you can cover without mods.

Blink (the WoW version, since the WC3 version wouldn't be feasible) is basically just the Vampire Lord ability Bats, with a different animation (perhaps the invisibility "flash" at the beginning and ending points).

As for mirror image, you might look to see if anyone's done work enabling the "Spectral Clone" shout that the Greybeards have you test Unrelenting Force on. I know that the sound files for it exist, but it was never implemented.
