reallancem
So I have partaken in doing extensive writing for a quest mod coming soon, and I was put in charge of sidequests, various NPC's, and their character development. I would hate to spoil much, but the premise is finding an escaped slave's wife in a far away land in the Midwest in which the communities are underground due to the surface being scorched and irradiated. Kind of like The Pitt meets Metro 2033. The main quests will be left up to the main modder, but how do these drafts sound? Anderson- The main free settlement's sheriff. He hates slavery completely and relishes in killing slavers, but he is insanely prejudiced towards ghouls (feral or non-feral). He is somewhat of a moral role model to the citizens, and he was also a former paladin of the Midwest Brotherhood. He tells everyone that he left the Brotherhood to help people. However, he is concerned about recent disappearances from the settlement and wants the Courier to investigate. Bodies and parts turning up all over the place, mutilated, unsolved. He suspects slavers, but there may be something more sinister at hand. Harrison- A grizzled middle aged super badass, he is the gruff adhesive that keeps whatever is left of the Brotherhood together. He was born into it, his family originally being on the expedition East from Lost Hills. He values his brothers first and the Brotherhood second. But judging by the past events plaguing the Brotherhood as a whole, he has been having second thoughts about continuing the hunt for tech. He is indecisive of whether it is even worth keeping the Midwest Chapter alive, considering his squads have been through Illinois, Indiana, and the Erie Stretch without luck of making contact with other Brotherhood contingents. He now fears the worse, the fear of futility (cough cough name of sidequest cough). He employs the Courier to scour the surface and the underground for advanced technology. So what do you folks think of those two character concepts?
dangman4ever
In regards to Anderson, the Midwest Brotherhood did recruit ghouls into its forces. Could that be the actual reason for Anderson's leaving the Midwest Brotherhood? Also, why is he trusting an outsider, the Courier, to investigate disappearances in his settlement? He is the Sheriff after all.

He is a cannibal that is responsible for the disappearances and wants to cover his tracks by scapegoating and killing the Courier
