potemkis
So, here's what I'd like to do- I would like to get the models and textures for the Templar Armor set or even the Chevalier Set out of the game (the full suit). Do two new textures for them, and put them back in. Problem is- I don't know where to find them. Pretty much making a new faction to interact with- with a new hidden town/ city and a new companion. As to what I'll call this new faction- I haven't decided that yet. Yes- I know it'll take a lot (voice acting blah blah blah). I'd like to try to get the new companion to interact with the other companions as well....
adimatalon
I believe I can help you. I'm no modder, but I have a very good imagination and I can help you with a lot of ideas. I can draw sketches of the city/settlement you want to make and the armor you want to make (depending on what kind of faction we're talking about.). For example: if you're talking about a faction that fights for good, I was thinking you could name the settlement "Zion". It has two definitions, one being the State of Israel (disregard that if you want to). The other being heaven as the final gathering place for the true believers (which is the definition that would fit). I can help you with NPC personalities and dialogue too. I understand if you reject my help, but I know I can help your mod into something truly interesting. By the way, when you say you can't find the armor, are you talking about in the game or in the toolset?
potemkis
Found the armor (about 45 minutes ago!). Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with it. There will be three new models (at least). Two with gray or black tint to it, one with golden or silver-ish tint to it. After thinking about it, I wanted to add on to the Templars a little. This group of Templars could care less about Apostate Mages or the Circle of Magi. Their main purpose is to hunt down the demons that become powerful enough to cross over from the Fade (also involves making a new demon! Yay!). I'd like to try to have one of them eventually join you. I'd like to try to avoid any real life stuff. Zion kinda sounds familiar... I wanted to mainly do a stand alone adventure at first with different companions. Something similar to the game of Mordheim (if you're familiar with the Games Workshop game). There's more than enough ruined looking architecture already being used in the game, that I may only need to make a few things.
adimatalon
alrighty, let me know if you need my help with anything. (idea wise). truthfully, i think Zion is a good name for the settlement. especially if your using the templars. them being extremely loyal to the maker, i believe Zion is more then fitting. but of course, it is your mod. i also have some good ideas for armors and weaponry. but the question still stands, can i help you?
