Guild Restrictions

I joined the Thieves Guild and then the Dark Brotherhood with no problems. I haven't joined the Fighter's Guild in Morrowind or Oblivion for some reason. I am a fighter, but I always join the Thieves and Mages Guild.

Yo. Try checking out the Oblivion wiki entry, which I will thoughtfully provide a link to, even directing you to the bit about Factions :D - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elder_Scr...livion#Factions. And according to the wiki, there is a faction called the Temple of the Nine Divines, but is not joinable.

Personally, I always join the Fighters Guild first, just because that if I accidently pick up a criminal record somehow, I won't be locked out permanently.

I've also joined the thieves guils after the Dark Brotherhood, although the invitation didin't come as quickly as I would've liked it.

The mages guild is very leniant. I just join that whenever it's most conveniant for me.

did they take out the skill requirement for advancement?

like you have to have 30 in two mage skills to rise to a higher rank or something.

Ooh, that's a good question- how about it guys? Are there any skill/attribute requirements for entering or advancing in factions?

Beyond Oblivion ex. mentions something about infamy levels for entering the figthers guild - any other requirements?
