MoneyBackGuarantee
I was meandering around the outskirts of Pittsburgh earlier today and I got a little curious. Using console, I disabled a few boulders and other obstructions and did some hiking. Much to my surprise, I found a rather homely-looking collection of houses and buildings just on the other side of the cliff. Existing for scenic purposes only, none of them have doors or interiors of any kind and there's nothing to do. But I noticed that with a little cleaning up, this could easily be an explorable area. Some interiors to some of the homes could be added in, maybe a few enemies here and there and a some friendly NPCs coping with the extremes. It'd be the kind of sprucing-up this dull DLC needs Would anyone be interested in something like this? These are my favorite kinds of projects, and I'd be happy to crank something out. Starsickle
Anything that expands The Pitt is super-welcome. I say go for it, put some doors on it, clean up the texture, and make it a new area.

Even so, the Pitt owns, screw the haters.
MoneyBackGuarantee
The Pitt does own. I think it's one of the coolest environments in the game. But it was so under-utilized. I'm planning to fill in some of the residential homes, and an office building or two. And then I was thinking of sticking a vault in there somewhere. Potential Story OMFG: Maybe a few years back, a vault dweller left that vault to investigate the city. Maybe when he came back, he brought that Trog virus along with him.... Also, I just remembered, I can offer some help. I did some Navmeshes for a few mods and repaired some in others, so if you want help handling that aspect, I'd bite. MoneyBackGuarantee
Well hell, I might have to call this off. Thing is, Bethesda didn't put any roofs on a lot of the buildings in the distance. Meaning, you get to a high enough elevation and you can see into the buildings below. This is to such an extent that it'd take far too long to fix. Dammit.
Havok_x
Wouldn't you be able to just remove those houses and placed some better ones found in the Wasteland? Sorry, I dont know crap about the GECK, SO i wouldnt know... But i was looking really forward to your idea. :P
MoneyBackGuarantee
I could, possibly, but it'd be a damn lot of houses to change out, and none of them would look very Pitt-esque.
Starsickle
Problem with the "Trog virus" is that it's already stated that once you leave Pitt, it goes away. It's not a virus. It's not contagious. The Pitt disease is purely a product of Pitt's combined pollution (a RL joke) and radiation. Remember? No need for much in the way of story. But going on raids with the raiders sounds like fun. Read up and get to know some in the Pitt and think of ways the PC could get into that. Again, I am 100% behind expanding Pitt. If I recall, there's another person working on the Pitt - Team up? Can only standardize and improve it so everyone is happy. :)
