Oblivon BOSS Problem.

Oh my god, it's just problem after problem this month with my Oblivion.
Alright so now BOSS is tormenting me.
When I launch it, it says something about not being able to update the masterlist. I let this fly for about three months now. It has worked for somewhere below half a hear when this just randomly happened. Now it's causing me issues because it's refusing to sort any new installed files.
When I open BOSS and look at the Summary page, below the Plugin Type box is a red message saying:

"Error: masterlist update failed.
Details: cURL could not perform task! cURL response: "Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl".
Check the Troubleshooting section of the ReadMe for more information and possible solutions."

I don't know where the ReadMe is and it's irritating me so bad!

Any help is once again, greatly appreciated.

I believe that BOSS has had an update, and the Masterlist is now provided from a different source. If you get the latest BOSS and install it, it should correct the problem that stopped it downloading three months or so back. That may well solve the other errors too.

If this doesn't help, make sure you're running BOSS as administrator. Not just being logged in with your administrator account, no, you need to explicitly command the Explorer to run it as administrator from the right-click context menu, or setup the file's compatibility preferences to always do so in future. There's been cases where people didn't do that and non-administrators simply weren't allowed to cUrl to HTTPS urls by the libcurl library of their OS.

Thanks, I installed LOOT. I guess that's the new version then...I'm not sure why they couldn't have kept it BOSS but eh, why does it matter I have a good load order now lol. Thanks for the help :)
