Swords strike multiple targets

Okay, hello modding community. So I have a huge problem with my skyrim playthrough. I recently noticed that my swords were only striking one enemy at a time, and I found this a little more than aggrivating. Particularly so in scenarios where I am basically swimming in a sea of corpses, and I can't seem to hit ANYTHING other than the afore mentioned cadavers. Is it possible (God knows the Creation Kit looks like rocket science to me) to make a mod that modifies the sword swing, making it so the initial blow doesn't negate the rest of the attack? If I was to swing the dawnbreaker in a coffee shop, I'd kill all of the people sitting around me. This is the heart of why skyrim's combat feels flat and hack'n'slashy. If you can help, I'd be grateful.

oaky a couple questions first:

1) have you ever swung a sword like the Dawnbreaker? no? didn't think so. the Dawnbreaker is designed with a focus on its weight and its sharpness (common style for Nordic and Dwarven Swords) so the idea is to smash it into the enemy not cut them in half. a good example differences would be the Katana and a Nordic long sword; the first is designed around how sharp the blade is and slicing your enemy apart, the later is designed for hacking and jabbing and in general is made strong so it can be used to block unlike the Katana where blocking is bad for the blade and side stepping was a better form of defense.

2) why the hell are you using the dawnbreaker in a hord of... apparently the Dauger? seems like a bad choice here. that's just my opinion, I play with a bow and rarely get in close for a kill.

you need to chill out man, you want to look professional when asking for a modder, they're more likely to work with you if you seem easy to get along with.

also I know there is a mod that adds damage for your entire swing instead of just the first thing you hit. I haven't seen it in a while give me a bit to look for it.

ok, so thanks for the feedback. just fyi, i have a collection of swords in my household.

my historied background of daedric artifact wielding aside, id be thankful if you could link me to that mod you mentioned at the end.

so, i thought that this was a relatively respectful post, but apparently it couldn't pass whatever shrewd criteria it's being judged by. im not here to argue, just to discuss the topic. not to mention, im not even discussing the obvious....discrepencies that skyrims sword combat seems to be glued to, i just want to know the name of the mod you spoke of.

thanks.

I was referring to the profanity and the general hostility in your post. you seem piss off in the way you were expressing your issue.

on another note I am a specialist in several sword fighting styles and own many swords and knives. also I meant to say "have you ever swung a 'Nordic' sword before" and I apologize for the lack of a specification on that.

I cant find the mod on the Nexus, I know I saw it though because I almost got it; but I chose against doing so because I play with bows and knives more than the swords so I didn't want to add another mod I would hardly use. it exists and the moment I find it i'll post it here.

^ Thank you, I really appreciate your understanding and insight into the matter. I ask that the community at large disregard the perhaps seemingly offensive nature of my comments, as not only was I raised in a rather profane household, but also as the constant search for mods to tweak the game to fit ones preferences can become tedius and sometimes aggrivating... I'm sure that many others who mod their games to hell and back can sympathize. In any event, I hope that there will be some solution for me. Any other feedback is still welcome and appreciated :)

H fo hurry, E for urgence, L for love me and P for plz!!!! halp!

all joking aside though, my beloved and esteemed modding community, this is figuratively (and, in game literally) killin me.

Thanks!

There wasn't any profanity in his OP.
