toxicwolf6
When I first installed FO3, I had G4WL, and no mods/FOMM/FOSE - just FO3 and the latest patch. When I used to run the game, the G4WL bar used to show at the top with my gamercard etc, then go away. The dashboard would show if I pressed the HOME key or clicked LIVE from the main menu. Now, none of the things happen. Is it because of FOMM/FOSE/mods?It's annoying because I cannot get achievements either. Toxic Wolf

Toxic Wolf FOMM- only if the "fake xlive.dll" tweak is used FOSE- flat-out incompatible with G4WL mods- depends on the mod I think is G4WL patched as well? Will it work with FOSE if it is? Cheers,Toxic Wolf
Skotte
No, I don't think G4WL is patched. Will it work with FOSE if it is? Cheers,Toxic Wolf no, they are still incompatible I hear Quote from the fose site * FOSE is incompatible with Windows Live, so when running via fose_loader.exe, Live will be disabled. As Live operates as a cheat-detection tool similar to Punkbuster or VAC, FOSE's in-memory modifications are inherently incomptible. Don't worry about being banned or anything like that, everything still works when running Fallout normally. To download DLC, launch fallout3.exe directly instead of via the loader. After downloading the DLC, you will then need to move the DLC files in to the Fallout data folders to use them like any other mod. so it's a matter of which do you want more

I'll just delete FOSE when I go on my "achievement-a-thon". Toxic Wolf
toxicwolf6
I've re-installed FO3 - but the G4WL is still not showing up, and clicking LIVE on the main menu still does nothing. All I have installed is FO3, no FOSE, FOMM, or any mods... Help!Toxic Wolf
