ForrestEbonwolf Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I downloaded the Kvatch Rebuilt mod, and up until they begin rebuilding the city everything is fine. Then after all of the debris is cleared and after the buildings are half way done, nothing progresses, is there a certain in game timer that sets up the quests? how long are the timers set too? Because I had one game where they came to me about the gardner only a week or two after I found the lost shipment, and in my last game I waited an entire in game year and no one ever came to me about the gardener. DavidBudreck Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 There is a game timer at almost every step of the way. This is to simulate it taking time to build a city! The time between most actions is 7 days. A lot of people become impatient and want it to happen faster, but personally I don't think it is long enough. During the mod, a totally destroyed is totally rebuilt from rubble in just a couple of months. However, as I said, even as it is, people still get impatient, so there is no way he could have gotten away with a month between each action instead of a week. Oh well... ForrestEbonwolf Posted January 17, 2010 Author Share Posted January 17, 2010 I wouldn't mind if it took a long time, but the problem I'm having is that I waited for nearly a year and it still isn't done I'm just wondering how long it does take so I can know how long I'm going to have to wait. I can be patient enough, it just seems like nothing is happening at all. the first game I played with the mod installed they came to me about finding a gardener, and then in the second game they never even came to get me about the gardener. And even after I did find the gardener in the first game, nothing occured afterwards... It just doesn't seem like the mod is working. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DavidBudreck Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I did find it a bit buggy too, but I had first installed Kvatch Aftermath, removed it, and replaced it with Kvatch Rebuilt. I chalk some of the bugs up to that. But, maybe not... Make sure you have the patches, like if you are using OOO, and make sure the patches load last.
