Xialoh
This is my current load order. I've gone through some my mods readmes, but the CTDs just seem to speed up. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Slightly modified the load order list after more checks, disabled a couple things. still getting near instant CTDs. I'd also like to add that it seems to primarily be happening at Minefield. I had a save in Minefield at night, and I'd get CTD'd every 10 seconds after loading or so. I then went back to a save just before I headed to minefield, and managed to walk all the way there, kill Arkansas, and explore the area, before I CTD'd again. The load order is only going to get you so far. These mods were all made by different people, sometimes in different parts of the world. So I suggest you drop any patches an make your own an more with FO3edit. There's a nice interactive guide to learn how. But FO3edit merge patch an Master update get rid of about 50% of the patches. The other 47% depends on your build, did you run the tweek guide and test vanilla fallout patched over a period of time to get it to run really smooth before you got the mods? Then you know start small, get a bunch of really tiny simple mods like 60-80 of them then fix it with FO3edit, an add in the big complex mods one at a time fixing them. So then all your work fixing is spaced out between long periods of game play. Web-ensized FO3edit guide by CSB http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9616 Tweek Guide http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_1.html Disable autosave, an never quicksave, don't use the continue button at the load screen. Never delete your saves until you are ready to delete them all. If you add mods to a existing save game it's a risk, even more so if you take a way mods from a save game. Look in the pinned topics too everything you need to know is in there. It's way at the bottom of this guys DXdiag report, but I just wrote a kind of short start up plan. Yeah you got to have a plan.http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=177120&hl
Xialoh
I'll try that load order. I did a fresh install because the order wasn't fixing the freezes. In regards to FO3 edit though..I'm not very good with things like that. If I find myself crashing again now that I've done a fresh install, this time skipping the companion vault and texture packs, then I'll try that. I never get very far when I try to do all that tech stuff with bios and whatnot though =/.
