For example, Hitler viciously killed millions of people in thee most brutal manners, but his medical discoveries have saved billions, (Think, if your family has ever had life saving surgery, chances are it in some way came from Hitler!) So do we continue to condemn him or let him off the hook for his crimes? Or Joseph Stalin, Killed millions but revolutinized a country? Some call him a hero, but is he just a filthy murderer? I have no strong feelings one way or another, but I have seen this issue appear alot. WHat about the old saying, better to kill a billion to save a billion and one! Retribution Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 Hitler and Stalin were nothing more than murderers, and deserved to feel the pain of every one of the deaths they caused. However, I'm not going to say mass murder can't be justified. In fact, there's a way we could do it now to fix some problems in the world, but I'm not going to say in which way, lest I be called a heartless monster, or a hypocrite, considering what I said earlier in the post. Example, most medicine came from war crimes and genocide, most technology came from war, and christianity cam out of the blood of christ! Our Democracy Came from war, American government and independence came from revolution, and canadian independance came from World War One, Because something good came out of bloodshed, doesn't make it any less of a blood shed!
