UncleRoe
When you want to build an interior from scratch, the best reference is a premade interior. if you don't know what to put on the inside or the names of the walls, floors, etc you can always click on an already pre-existing cell and see what the names of the items are. Then you just put the name in the search bar, click "all" n the item tree, and you'll get a list of building materials that you would prefer to use for building interior cells. Then you just drag and drop the items you want to make your own cell with. you can also preview all items before dropping them into the render window,also..when you get to creating, "ctrl+F" helps out alot.. if you have a part that's in the render window.. and you want it changed without the hassle of searching for it in the geck, this will bring up a small menu of all the items related to it,this way you can change a part on the fly. When i was first starting off i simply duplicated a pre-existing cell, renamed the editname and then removed and added what i wanted from there.. I still do it when i don't feel like making a cell from scratch. You can always build your own cell from the original.for example i copied dukovs place, then i removed all the litter and trash, took out dukov and his whores, put in pre-war furniture and a robot maid..and renamed it into " My Mansion"..as it was only the first floor to my new home.
