sandman101 Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 At some point no matter what you do. Every quest is finished, every dungeon is looted and all creatures slaughtered. Without cheating there is no way to gain more XP. I've downloaded the toolset but I'm having trouble (atm) with the MS 2005 server package so I can't open the toolset. I'm really wondering how much would be involved in making it so that some creatures would respawn in certain areas. It could be kept very lore friendly. Blight creatures, Darkspawn, etc... I mean they are invading the country. And I don't mean a full respawn of all creatures, but at least level appropriate of some creatures. If this isn't doable, more chances for random encounters with darkspawn and blighted creatures. Especially closer to the Korcari Wilds, Lothering and Redcliff. Jinxxed0 Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 This is probably why people arent in a hurry to mod this game. Its a small game when you think about it. Something like Oblivion could be played forever without the main quest. But this game throws into the main quest right away. The side quests are just side quests. In Oblivion you had story arcs and a series of quests as well as random quests. Maybe the expansion will change things for DA and make it more of a free roam. But I highly doubt it.
