Draginite
So, for a while I've been trying to download mods from tesnexus.com and fallout3nexus.com, but whenever I try downloading the file, it never works. For files under 2MB, after picking the file I want to download it opens the small window saying "Downloading fileYour file is being prepared for download ...If you do not receive an error, and the page continues to load, please be patient. Your file is being transferred to this server for downloading." and then the file begins downloading, however, for some reason it downloads as "download.php" and retains it's regular file size. The same thing occurs for files over 2MB, I just pick my server before it downloads. Can someone help me? Is it a problem with my account, or what? Thank you~
buddah
What browser are you using? It really does make a difference. Do not right click and save, just click the link and allow it to redirect you to the file. You cannot right click and save or save as, just click on it and let the system work. phoneyLogic
Do you use plugins for FF, like NoScript which might block some scripts?I think you would need to allow the smal window separately.
Draginite
The only plugins I use are Greasemonkey, Linkification, and Flashgot.Greasemonkey only has a script enabled for one site that is not a nexus site.
buddah
The site does not support download managers as a rule, only the premium only servers are set up to accommodate some of them. Don't use flashgot, just the downloader that is part of firefox. You also must have java enabled for the site to function properly, so make sure you have java enabled or make an exception for the site. The file sites rely quite heavily on java to function. buddah
If you can't get firefox to download for you try a different browser. I cannot say what your issue is.....might be flashgot not allowing/accepting the redirect or one of your other plugins. The problem is definitely on your end. Files under 2mb are available to anyone and no log in is required for them.

Lasombra90
I have a similar problem, so I'll put it here. I cannot download anything from Nexus sites, after I receive the list of possible servers and choose any of them, the window just turns blank and nothing happens. This occurs with both Mozilla Firefox and IE, and with all files, regardless of the login requirement.
