Midicow
I've used the cm partners mod, and like the idea and features, but don't particularly like the partners (tes nexus uploaded or otherwise). So, I was curious if it were possible to add a ring or amulet in-game that you could companion share to an npc that has you on follow (or at least high standings) that would preform or unperform the script attaching and faction changes required to make an npc a "cm-partnerable" npc. Example: Go out to a tavern and find a named npc with proper scripting (not a bandit or such), get a good standing with them, and use toster's sharing to give them an amulet, which when the npc equips it, the player gets a prompt that asks if the npc is a combat/magic/stealth and other requirements that can't be detected automatically, then attaches the factions/scripts. Sort-of a lazyperson's way of "making" a cm-partner without opening the tes construction set. Toaster's share plugin allows you to do the "friend..." dialogue to any npc and have the npc fight for you and such, but Cm-companions has more options.
