Disappearing DLC

After I escaped the cell in Fort Drakon all of the equipment my character was wearing has disappeared. It was not retrievable from the chest although the rest of my inventory was. Almost all was DLC or from a mod except for the Veshialle axe.

 

Anyone else experience that issue?

The issue doesn't have anything to do with dlcs, but with fort drakon. Well, actually, the howe estate.

 

Lemme guess, you where still wearing the guard disguise when fighting/surrendering to ser Cauldren?

I had to fight my way through the dungeon - my avatar did not appear to be wearing the disguise.

Have you tried loading pre-drakon and trying again?. If it happens yet again, then just unequip your stuff before being captured.

have you tried moving to another zone? IE moving to an area that causes the "loading" screen to play? Have you gone to camp? That sometimes removes "affects" that your char is under.

 

Very odd situation, hope that you get it resolved!

I retreated to a previous save and deliberatedly broke the guard disguise before entering Howe's dungeon. The result was the same but curiously Alistair is not affected by this bug.

 

I reverted back to the previous save and reequiped with some other gear before triggering the cutscene. Once again the gear I had equiped vanished but my regular gear was in my pack so that is the work around.

 

Its curious because I had gone through this part of the game with a different build without having this happen.
