JJ2198
I would like to know if it is possible to create a weapon that can destroy anything? Like what ever it hits gets disabled.
Maxandmov
Maybe OnHit function will help you out?
bben46
If by anything, you mean objects in the game such as buildings - Not really. But there is a zap gun that makes objects vanish in FO3 that may could be adapted - note that it does not make holes in buildings - the entire wall will vanish, often leaving a hole in the game if that wall covered a gap. If you use it on the ground, you get a gap in the scenery if it works at all. I have used it to remove things like wrecked cars, trash cans, and other static objects. Use it sparingly though, as you can zap things like door activators.

Really I just want it to destroy a specific object, though playing different mods, sometimes the mod author will change the name so I can't just edit the vanilla item and have it be destroyable. Do you know the name of the weapon or where you get it, because I've never gotten a weapon like that?
bben46
Open the console (~) target and click on the object. An 8 digit hexadecimal number will appear at the top of the page - That is the targeted object's ID. Now, without leaving the console, type in disable xxxxxxxx ( where xxxxxxxx is the ID of the object) press enter, then exit the console (~) The object should be removed from the game. Be careful as if you accidentally target the wrong thing - it will be gone instead. - Don't use this on things like locked doors as that will remove the door activator, and may remove the generic door activator used for all doors. Usually removing or cheating through a locked door will not work as many doors don't have anything on the other side. Instead, the activator is used to move you to a new world space. Technically, the door activator acts as a teleport and not like a real world door. The first two digits of the 8 digit ID are the current load order - so look at the Id as yyxxxxxx where yy will change based on load order. And the rest will always stay the same. The game goes by that ID number and not the name. If something has the same ID, and a different name - it is still the same object. JJ2198
Well the thing is I wanted to make this for a certain youtuber that shoots radios (because they're evil, lol?). He has a mod that works for destroying the vanilla radios, but every so often a mod author will change the name making it non-vanilla and not be destoyable. He could just console disable it, but that's not as funny/cool. So I wanted to make a weapon he could use on the non-vanilla ones. Edit: Okay, I've looked into NVSE and there is a function called GetCrossHairREF that works fine enough for me.
