See through the walls?

Hey there everyone, I have a quick mod question. I have copied an existing cell, in case you are wondering I am copying a level of Raven rock. I am having some trouble with the boundaries though. In the GECK everything looks fine, but when I go to play the mod, I run into these random brownish walls. There is no collision geometry to these walls, they are just there, and sometimes I can see through them and see other levels of the complex. Once I walk through them, I can see what is immediately behind them. I am quite stumped, :wallbash: please, anything would help!

Sounds like portals between rooms/viewable areas - or lack thereof. If I remember correctly (haven't worked on mapping for a couple months now) that those were hidden/just not automatically displayed. You needed to view everything + hidden before copying a map, but I could be wrong.

When you copy a cell and delete its contents, navmesh and room markers don't get deleted. To see them in your cell, go to View --> Show/Hide Windows and tick the "Portals and Rooms" check box. Now, if you see some large blueish cubes in your cell, highlight them and delete them. That should fix the issue of being able to see other areas of your comples. As for the browish walls, I'm not sure what that is. If, when you load your cell in the GECK, you get a warning that certain objects are out-of-bounds, that could be the issue, as the game will place them in-bounds, so they appear where you wouldn't expect them. IIRC the total distance along any axis can't exceed something like 21,000 units. So if any object you have has an X, Y, or Z coordinate greater than this (or lower then the negaive of this) or from one end to the other end of your complex exceeds this value, then you will have problems. But I'm not sure that this is even the case for your brown wall problem.
