ClayPeopleCry
So we can see some new clothing mods and not just recolors.
DarkeWolf
there are definitely people that know how to make new meshes. there's no lack of that. the problem...is exporting the meshes into a form that the game can understand. there's an export tool for a program called Blender, but from what I've read, it's not reliable. (not that I myself know how to make meshes). its basically BioWare's fault, for making the game mechanics the way that they did. It's taking the modding community quite a while to figure out how to get stuff to work with it, much less try to figure out how to get stuff into the game files to make them work. Occulus78
I've been wondering the same. A bit disappointing the game isn't more mod-friendly. Not that I don't appreciate the work people are doing, but it gets a bit tedious to see all the new mods are yet more recolorings, or even worse, character faces that we could just as easily create ourselves. TGBlank
The modders that made amazon curves, the curvaceous armors, berzerk sword and another who made some elven blades have already successfully brought new models to the game. There ought to be others too. Give it some time for the tools to evolve and the modders to pick up on them. Do i need to remind you that oblivion's nifskope (that was entirely community made, there where no developer tools for importing models at all, and it's creation was jumpstarted due to the fact that the gamebryo engine is not unique to Ob) is still beta and not entirely functional?.
